Ron Reeves Meadow, a native Californian, is a self-taught artist who began his artistic explorations in 1988. He produces art in a variety of media including sculpture, stained glass, acrylic and oil painting, jewelry, and drawing. His figurative work is informed by extensive study of human anatomy while earning his doctrate from Texas Chiropractic College and 20 years of practice. Ron's sculptures and paintings have been exhibited in juried shows at the Santa Cruz Art League, Works Gallery in San Jose, Los Gatos Museum, and Marin Society of Artists. In 2003 he received a certificate of merit from the Triton Museum and city of Santa Clara for his sculptural work. His work has been shown in galleries in Los Gatos, Carmel, and San Francisco, CA, as well as Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2004 Ron won first place for his painting, "Yellow Rose," in the south San Francisco Cultural Comissions Annual Show. In 2006 his painting, "Banyan," was chosen for exhibition by the American Juried Art Salon.
